Hearing Evaluation

Dr. Kuykendall has extensive training and experience offering detailed hearing tests for those from the age of 6 months old to over 100 years old. His goal is to provide clear answers at the end of the appointment regarding the degree of hearing loss and the area of the ear causing the hearing loss.

Hearing Aids

Yes, we carry some of the top brands of hearing aids: Phonak, Starkey, Widex, and ReSound. More importantly, we possess the knowledge and expertise to program these hearing aids properly using real ear measures. We also stand behind what we offer with service and support that is second to none.

Tinnitus

Many people describe their tinnitus as ringing, buzzing, crickets, chirping, or swishing. There are many potential causes of tinnitus and at Western Oklahoma Hearing we have the diagnostic equipment, technology, and experience to help determine the cause of tinnitus and how to successfully manage it. We are even one of the few clinics in the United States to provide newly FDA approved Lenire technology.

Vestibular Assessment

No one wants to lose their independence as they age. Unfortunately, when people fall that is often the starting point when they begin losing their independence. Falls commonly lead to broken hips and/or broken wrists, which are very costly and require extensive rehabilitation. Our goal is to properly diagnose or rule out vestibular causes of vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance using videonystagamography (VNG) and caloric testing. Western Oklahoma Hearing is the only clinic in Western Oklahoma offering this valuable testing.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Once a vestibular cause of dizziness has been identified, we are able to help develop a plan of rehabilitation to manage the issue before it leads to a costly fall. We offer on site services including Virtual Reality Programs to assist with rehabilitation.
